WHITTAMS BROKERAGE SERVICES
The hassle free way to sell your vehicle with no contractual tie ins or hidden charges, getting you the most value back rom your investment.
HOW IT WORKS
-
Whittams acts strictly as a broker to help you sell your motorhome. We introduce potential buyers and handle negotiations, but the contract of sale is between you and the buyer. We are not the buyer or seller.
-
You must confirm you’re the legal owner of the vehicle or have authority to sell it. You also confirm the vehicle is free from finance or that any outstanding finance will be settled at the point of sale. All details you give us about the motorhome must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
-
Our commission is agreed before marketing begins and will be deducted from the sale price before the balance is paid to you. We only charge this fee once a buyer has paid in full and the sale is completed.
-
We’ll suggest a sale price and advertise accordingly. We’ll take photos, write a listing, advertise your motorhome online and site your vehicle on our forecourt. We’ll manage all enquiries and handle viewings on your behalf. You agree to keep the vehicle available for appointments during its siting with us. We’ll keep you informed throughout and on receiving offers, you decide which offer to accept.
-
We’ll present all offers to you. Once an offer is accepted, we’ll handle the sales paperwork and coordination. The buyer pays us in full, we deduct our commission and transfer the remaining balance to you once the sale is complete.
-
If we don’t sell your motorhome, you owe us nothing other than the retention of the initial onboarding fee already paid. There are no hidden charges.
-
You remain responsible for keeping the vehicle taxed, insured, and roadworthy while it’s on sale. Whittams accepts no liability for loss or damage unless it results from our proven negligence during viewings, site manoeuvring and test drives where appropriate.
-
You may cancel our agreement at any time by giving us written notice, as long as the vehicle hasn’t already been sold or agreed for sale. If a buyer has committed to purchase, the process must be completed.
-
The Broker will handle all client data in accordance with current data protection regulations. No personal information will be shared with potential buyers without the Seller’s consent.
-
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the English courts.
